FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS
The WOW Studio One Theater & Film Festival (WSOTFF) welcomes bold voices and original stories from artists around the world. We celebrate creativity across a wide spectrum of theater and film, offering opportunities for both emerging and established creators to share their work. Below, you’ll find the various categories open for submissions — each designed to highlight diverse perspectives, innovative storytelling, and artistic excellence. Eligibility
Original works only
(may have been produced before but must be owned by the playwright).
Scripts must be in English.
One submission per playwright per category.
Works should not exceed 10 characters in cast size
(unless approved in advance).
Submission Requirements
PDF script (standard play format).
One-page synopsis with character breakdown.
Brief playwright bio (150 words).
Optional: video link of past staged reading or production.

Strong character development
Stage feasibility for festival setting
Emotional impact and audience engagement potential

Eligibility
Must be completed after January 1, 2023.
Open to filmmakers worldwide (English or English subtitles required).
Works-in-progress accepted with clear indication of what remains.

Film uploaded via FilmFreeway (MP4 or MOV).
Synopsis (max 200 words).
Director’s statement (optional).
Press kit (poster, stills, credits).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All accepted works will be scheduled for screening/performance during the festival.

Playwrights and filmmakers are responsible for securing all rights/permissions.

Selected participants will receive festival passes, networking opportunities, and promotional features.

The festival reserves the right to adjust programming based on submissions received.
